Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a dedicated career advisor to build strong relationships with clients and aid them in overcoming employment barriers. You will provide case management, orientation, and coordinated workshops to help participants meet contract goals.

Responsibilities include documenting activities, coordinating with schools and management, and ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements while delivering high-quality job preparation programs.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in career advisement and development, workshop facilitation, developing workforce curriculum, public speaking and content development
• Bachelor's degree in education, social services, healthcare and/or communications
• Customer service experience required
• Ability to prioritize tasks and document visits and contacts

Responsibilities

• Build a professional one-on-one working relationship with clients to aid in eliminating challenges to employment
• Provide consistent and comprehensive case management and follow-up
• Conduct new customer orientation and ensure required documentation is completed
• Facilitate all professional development workshops
• Maintain organized database of clients and document contacts with clients
• Provide individualized assessment of work and referrals to services
• Complete required enrollment documentation and case notes
• Ensure post-placement contacts as required by contract
• Create solutions to attendance problems
• Assist in preparation of project reports
• Manage programs and workshops and coordinate grants and placement data
• Develop and maintain a standard communication plan for staff
• Participate in training, capacity building and process improvements
• Provide operational support and coverage as needed
• Assist in intake services for the Center
• Provide compliance-driven operations support
• May be assigned other tasks reasonably related to job responsibilities
• Other duties as assigned
