City of Indianapolis, through Marion County Community Corrections, seeks a Community Corrections Officer to supervise clients under IRAS and implement individualized case plans. This role uses evidence‑based practices and motivational interviewing to promote accountability and public safety.

The position involves court appearances, on‑site and community meetings, and collaboration with courts, service providers, and employers.

Formación

• Associate degree in Criminal Justice or a related field with two years of experience in the criminal justice system.
• Must become certified to conduct IRAS assessments within one year of hire.
• Strong knowledge of IRAS, evidence-based practices, and motivational interviewing.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and monitor the activities of agency clients while ensuring compliance with sentencing court rules and MCCC policies.
• Interview and obtain client information and records accurately.
• Conduct Indiana Risk and Needs Assessment (IRAS) on all clients and develop individualized case plans.
• Appear in court and provide testimony as required.
• Coordinate with courts, treatment providers, and employers to support client progress.
• Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in case management systems.
