Job summary

Tippecanoe County Government is seeking a Case Manager for the Community Corrections Work Release, Home Detention, Day Reporting, Community Integration, and related programs.

This position requires completing IRAS assessments, monitoring participant compliance, maintaining electronic records, coordinating referrals, testifying in hearings, and providing data reports. A high school diploma or GED and criminal justice experience are preferred; CPR/Taser/OC certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years’ experience in criminal justice or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of Community Corrections programs and procedures.
• Ability to use department equipment and software.

Responsibilities

• Complete IRAS assessments and detailed case reports for all participants.
• Monitor program obligations, hearings, and drug screens; submit samples for testing.
• Refer participants to community agencies and track treatment status.
• Maintain electronic records and prepare statistical reports as requested.
• Respond to inquiries from participants, employers, victims, court staff, and law enforcement.
• Testify at hearings and assist investigations as needed.
