State of Indiana is seeking a Correctional Caseworker at Indiana State Prison in Michigan City to coordinate case management and facilitate access to programs for incarcerated individuals. You will craft case plans and assist in release and re-entry planning, documenting progress throughout incarceration.

A degree is not required, but a high school diploma or HSE with relevant experience is acceptable; mandatory IRAS certification must be obtained within 90 days, along with DOC training, First

Qualifications

• Must test negative on all drug screenings.
• Within 90 days of hire, obtain IRAS Certification.
• Complete mandatory training including the DOC Training Program, Case management training, First Aid and CPR.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate case management for incarcerated individuals.
• Facilitate access to programs and services and create individualized case plans.
• Assist in preparing release and re-entry processes.
• Document interactions and progress during incarceration.
• Coordinate with staff for re-entry and classification recommendations.
• Conduct unit orientation for new offenders.
