Volunteers of America Greater New York (VOA-GNY) seeks an Assessment Specialist for the Schwartz Men's Shelter on Wards Island, NY. The role conducts standardized assessments to identify housing barriers and service needs for men in shelter, coordinating with service providers and referring to housing search and case management as needed.
The position requires an associate degree or equivalent shelter experience, strong verbal and written communication, and basic computer skills.
