Job summary

Family Promise of Spokane in Spokane, WA is seeking a Keep Housing Case Manager to help families stay housed. This full-time, hourly position offers a range of duties and a housing-first approach.

You will work with a caseload, visit families at home and in the community, and build relationships with landlords while coaching on tenant rights and budgeting. Requirements include a bachelor's degree in social work or related field, 1+ year in case management or housing services, strong boundaries,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of experience in case management, housing services, or family support (2+ years preferred).
• Strong boundaries, sound judgment in a crisis, and emotional resilience.
• Comfort with computers and detailed documentation.
• Valid Washington driver's license and an insurable driving record.
• Ability to pass an annual background check.

Family Promise of Spokane | Spokane, WA

Full-time | Hourly | $23.00-$25.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Typically Monday-Friday daytime, with occasional evenings/weekends

At Family Promise of Spokane, we equip families to end the cycle of homelessness.

As a Keep Housing Case Manager, you'll walk alongside families for up to two years after they move into housing, helping them build the skills, relationships, and confidence to stay housed for good.

What you'll do

• Support a caseload of families with housing stability, goal-setting, and resource referrals
• Meet with families in their homes and in the community, at least monthly
• Build strong relationships with landlords and property managers
• Coach families on tenant rights, budgeting, and keeping their housing
• Connect families to employment, education, mental health, and other resources
• Keep timely, objective case notes and accurate data for program reporting

  What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 1+ year of experience in case management, housing services, or family support (2+ years preferred)
