Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Mental Health (DMH) Metro Boston Fuller Site, seeks an experienced Case Management Supervisor in the Greater Boston Area. You will supervise and train staff, oversee caseloads, and ensure high-quality DMH services while coordinating with inpatient facilities, hospitals, and community partners.

Travel is required, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Four+ years of full-time case management/therapeutic experience.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating services.
• Knowledge of DMH recovery principles, trauma-informed care, and human rights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, orient, and train assigned HSC I staff; assign workloads and monitor performance.
• Oversee case management to ensure DMH compliance and service quality.
• Review documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
• Conduct utilization management reviews and monitor billing and data.
• Manage caseload distribution and ensure appropriate service delivery.
• Provide comprehensive case management and coordinate housing, benefits, and transportation.
• Develop risk and safety plans and engage with crisis services and providers.
• Onboard new staff and conduct performance evaluations within timelines.
• Arrange transportation and support continuity of services; travel as required.
