Case Dock Laborer

Purity Dairies is looking for a Case Dock Laborer for our Nashville facility. Job Responsibilities: The Case Dock Laborer will perform all-purpose duties, including ensuring empty cases are available to production departments to meet production schedules, maintaining and cleaning all equipment in the assigned area, sliding case stacks from trucks using milk hooks or pallet jacks as appropriate, ensuring conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays, and confirming the empty case area is full of cases at the end of shift to help the next shift. The role requires following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicating effectively with all departments.

Compensation

• $20.25 per hour

Schedule

• Monday - Friday 10 pm-6:30 am, Saturdays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Must be able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment.
• May occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to effectively work in a team environment.
• Must be able to legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
