Purity Dairies is looking for a Filler Operator for our Nashville facility.

Responsibilities

Filler Operator will operate filling machines and make necessary adjustments to ensure production of containers is performed safely, efficiently, and with high quality. Monitor conveyor lines for damaged bottles. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs of filler equipment. Monitor empty bottle weights and adjust accordingly. Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees, and notify them of any problems or concerns that may affect production efficiency. Ensure all paperwork is filled out accurately and in accordance with SOPs. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday 10:00 pm – 6:30 am (3rd shift)
• Saturdays as needed

Salary

The machine operator can make up to $23.50 per hour.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• 6 months related experience required
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with whole numbers, fractions and decimals
• Ability to stand, walk, push or pull for a majority of the day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
• Comfortable working in a wet environment with some dust, gas or fumes
• Willingness to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends and holidays
• Team player who works effectively in a team environment
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Pass all pre-employment screenings (drug, background and criminal checks)
