Job description

Purity Dairies is looking for a Case Dock Laborer for our Nashville facility.

Pay: $20.25 per hour (up to)

Schedule: 1st Shift Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm, Saturdays as needed.

Responsibilities

The Case Dock Laborer will perform all‑purpose duties including ensuring empty cases are available to production departments, maintaining cleanliness of equipment, sliding case stacks from trucks using milk hook or pallet jack, ensuring conveyor tracks are filled with empty cases to prevent production delays, and confirming empty case area is full of cases at end of shift to help next shift.

Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and communicate effectively with all departments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Able to stand, walk, pull, push, reach, and bend virtually the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others when lifting is necessary.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment and may occasionally be exposed to cleaning chemicals.
• Willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Effectively work in a team environment.
• Legibly write entries for record keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
