Job summary

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a Case Aide to support daily case management activities for clients in need. The role requires maintaining an organized schedule, handling intake, and ensuring timely processing of eligibility documents.

The Case Aide will coordinate transportation for program services, assist with file creation and maintenance, and support CRS-related tasks under supervision. Flexible hours and field travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Clerical, typing and computer proficiency required.
• Good written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must exercise discretion and good judgment in sensitive issues.

Responsibilities

• Determine eligibility by requesting official documents to prove eligibility.
• Ensure clients are enrolled into the program’s internal intake system.
• Upload DHS eligibility documents to CMS and WEB-RSDS systems.
• Complete ACCESS forms for benefits such as Cash, Food Stamps, and Medicaid if needed.
• Provide client with Registration forms and copies of documents sent to DCF.
• Transport clients to appointments and program services as needed.
• Create client intake case files with necessary documents.
• Maintain and organize physical and electronic case records.
• Assist with compiling files for ORR or DCF upon request.
• Prepare CRS orientation as part of CRS plan.
• Conduct follow-up calls every 30 days for registered clients.
• Coordinate referrals for in-house services.
• Attend trainings and meetings; implement policy updates.
