Job summary

The Arizona Department of Child Safety (DCS) is hiring an Assistant Case Manager – Case Aide in Gilbert, Mesa, Phoenix, and Tempe, Arizona. You will support children and families under a Case Manager and provide direct services in DCS programs.

This role may require weekend or overtime hours. Working with DCS offers a mission-driven environment, growth opportunities, and a chance to impact vulnerable families across the state.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and a satisfactory 39 month driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DPS Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Work history, Central Registry and Public Record considerations.

Responsibilities

• Support children and families under the direction of a Case Manager.
• Provide direct services in Department of Child Safety programs.
• Transport clients and ensure proper use of child safety seats.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate services.
• Supervise parent-child visits.
• Refer clients to community resources.
• Attend court hearings and required meetings.
• Document client interactions and activities.
• Provide general case management and clerical support.
