Job description

LSSI is hiring a full-time Case-Aide. Assist clinical staff in providing services to Kenmore Residential Rehabilitation clients, including monitoring the milieu, observing clients during medication times, and documentation. Provide supportive coverage to Kenmore Healthy Start Recovery Home, as needed.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Essential Functions:

Collaborate with Kenmore Residential Rehabilitation team members, other LSSI programs, and external partners in order to provide quality, whole-person care and services to Kenmore Residential Rehabilitation clients.
Make client referrals and linkages.
Maintain a therapeutic environment on the unit.
Monitor milieu and assist clinical staff, including communicating any changes in a client’s presentation or needs to a member of the clinical staff.
Complete all required EHR documentation in a timely manner.
Familiarity with Emergency Procedures.
Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individuals in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.

Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED.
1-3 years of experience in substance use field is preferred.
Annual TB test required.
Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
Demonstrated proficiency in EHR documentation and review required.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
Excellent communication, organization, presentation, and PC/computer skills (including proficiency with Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
Occasional driving may be required.
Valid Driver’s License in good standing for the state of residency.
Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage required.
