Job summary

Pinal County Juvenile Court Services seeks an individual to support the CASA program, cultivate inter-agency relationships, and educate the community about CASA. The role emphasizes volunteer management, outreach, and collaboration with partner agencies.

Responsibilities include coordinating volunteers, developing community relations plans, and preparing reports. A Bachelor's degree and relevant social services experience are required, with a valid Arizona driver’s license upon hire.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral/social sciences or related; AND
  • Three (3) years of experience in social work, criminal or juvenile justice, mental or behavioral health; OR
  • Arizona residents must have a valid Arizona Driver's License upon hire; newly established Arizona Residents must have one within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with volunteer management, including recruitment, training, supervision, assessment, case assignment, retention, and recognition.
  • Responds to inquiries about the CASA program.
  • Assist in identifying, building collaborations with, and referring CASAs to appropriate community resource agencies.
  • Assists in the planning and development of future programs and services, including training and evaluation, and attends staff meetings.
  • Partners with the Program Supervisor and other CASA Coordinators to develop and implement public relations, marketing, recruitment, and community outreach/education plans.
  • Facilitates case support or other program-related meetings and completes all setup and follow‑through activities.
  • Serves as a liaison between CASA Coordinators and other groups and agencies to facilitate communication, reimbursement, event participation, and improvements.
  • Assists in developing orientation and in-service training modules and monitors training improvements.
  • Monitors changes to statutes and updates training materials as necessary.
  • Assists with the CASA newsletter, including articles and proofreading.
  • Attends State-level CASA and Support Council meetings and reports.
  • Compiles and provides required documentation and statistics for monthly/quarterly reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in behavioral/social sciences or related
Three (3) years of experience in social work, criminal or juvenile justice, mental or behavioral health
Arizona Driver's License upon hire
