• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with both clients and internal management.

Responsibilities

• QuickBooks Online Management: Serve as the primary user for client QuickBooks Online files, ensuring all data is entered accurately and Troubleshoot technical issues within the platform.
• General Ledger Maintenance: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations and record necessary journal entries.
• Financial Preparation: Assist in the production of periodic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring compliance with appropriate accounting frameworks.
• Month-End Support: Assist the CAS Manager with month-end and year-end closing processes for clients.
• Tax Compliance Support: Prepare data for sales tax filings and assist with the preparation of annual 1099 reports.
• Process Efficiency: Identify opportunities to streamline client accounting workflows through the use of integrated QuickBooks apps and paperless tools.
• Collaborative Support: Work closely with CAS Clerks to oversee accurate transaction coding and provide backup support for complex accounts payable or receivable issues.
• Audit Readiness: Organize and provide documentation to external auditors as directed by management.
