Job summary

CFS in Pittsburgh, PA seeks an experienced Client Advisory Services (CAS) Manager to lead a growing team delivering outsourced bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting services to a diverse client base.

You will manage client relationships, oversee engagements, mentor staff, and drive operational excellence while maintaining exceptional service. A CPA or CMA is strongly preferred; 7+ years in accounting with 3+ years in leadership is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting, bookkeeping, or financial reporting experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing client relationships and supervising staff.
• CPA or CMA designation strongly preferred.
• Experience with payroll processing and payroll tax reporting.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and financial statement prep.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of accounting and advisory clients.
• Oversee bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting engagements to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Mentor staff and provide coaching to develop a high-performing team.
• Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and quality expectations.
• Lead client relationships and deliver exceptional service.
• Participate in business development activities as appropriate.
