Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Active CPA or EA license preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing accounting engagements and client relationships.
• Previous experience leading and developing accounting professionals.
• Strong understanding of financial statement prep, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Experience with QuickBooks, CFS, Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement/Workstream, and related tax software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review complex bookkeeping, accounting, and financial statement engagements.
• Manage client relationships and serve as a trusted accounting advisor.
• Review and analyze Form 1099 filings, payroll tax returns, sales tax, property statements, and business licenses.
• Provide representation and support during tax audits.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Supervisors, Seniors, Staff, and Interns.
• Analyze staff utilization and charge-hour performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency and client experience.
