Job summary

ShopRite of Brookside Plaza in Enfield is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service and manage carts in a fast-paced front-end role. You will greet customers, assist with groceries, and help maintain a clean, safe shopping environment throughout shifts in Enfield, CT.

The position emphasizes teamwork, physical stamina, and adherence to store policies while supporting store promotions and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle physical tasks as needed.
• Ability to interact with customers in a friendly, helpful manner.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Collect empty carts and return them to proper locations.
• Handle damaged or returned-to-stock products per policy and prioritize perishables.
• Follow QA and safety guidelines, wear gloves when handling food, and follow label instructions.
