Job summary

ShopRite of Englewood is hiring a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver a great customer experience by providing friendly, efficient service and helping customers with their groceries. This role includes collecting and returning shopping carts from the parking lot and assisting customers as needed.

The position is part-time, non-union, located in Englewood, NJ. It requires the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Friendly and helpful interaction with customers.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Must be 18 years or older to operate certain equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service and assistance.
• Remove debris from carts and collect empty carts for return.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock products per Company policy.
• Perform duties in accordance with ShopRite safety and QA standards.
• Stand at the work station for the duration of scheduled shifts and work overtime as needed.
