Job summary

ShopRite of New Milford is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver a friendly, efficient customer experience and manage carts around the parking lot. You will assist customers with groceries and keep the front-end area safe and organized.

Applicants should be 18+, able to lift 25–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work flexible schedules. This is an on-site role at ShopRite of New Milford, NJ.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English clearly.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a shift.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and occasionally 50 lbs.
• Ability to work with others and maintain attendance policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe shopping area.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect and return shopping carts from parking areas and bring them to appropriate places.
• Handle damaged or return-to-stock items per company policy, especially perishable items.
• Dress and groom according to policy including uniform and name badge.
• Promote current charitable promotions to customers and maintain knowledge of products.
