Job summary

Jobtailor in Wisconsin is seeking a hands-on Production Operator to operate and monitor cartoner equipment used to package pizzas according to product specifications. In this role you will load cartons, keep glue applicator levels, and ensure a steady supply of carton materials to maintain production flow.

You will perform weight checks, temperature verifications, and quality inspections, support changeovers and TPM initiatives, and help maintain a clean, safe workspace following 5S and GMP

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing experience helpful but not required; training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures and quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn production equipment and systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and make minor equipment adjustments.
  • Ability to accurately complete production records and paperwork.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, standing, reaching, and repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor cartoner equipment to package pizzas according to product specifications.
  • Load cartons into machines and maintain glue applicator levels.
  • Bring in carton pallets and maintain adequate carton supply for production.
  • Keep pizza bins emptied and production flowing efficiently.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments to maintain operational performance.
  • Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and timely.
  • Perform product weight checks, box checks, and temperature verifications as required.
  • Conduct quality inspections to ensure products meet customer and company standards.
  • Assist with changeovers, including carton size changes and equipment setup adjustments.
  • Support line audits, center lining activities, TPM initiatives, and housekeeping standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment through 5S practices.
  • Follow all company policies, safety regulations, GMPs, and food safety requirements.

  • Ability to identify equipment or product issues and take appropriate corrective action.
