Job summary

Meijer Great Lakes is seeking entry-level Courtesy Team Members to support store operations and deliver friendly customer service. You will perform a variety of retail tasks, greet customers, stock shelves, and work with multiple departments while maintaining a safe, clean store environment.

You will manage cart retrieval, parking lot and exterior area cleanup, snow removal, perishables handling, and basic store cleaning.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong listening and clear communication abilities.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products or equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and return shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect parking lot, lawn, and interior trash.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment in winter conditions.
• Handle perishables and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Support multiple departments including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
