Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to gain exposure to store operations, customer service, and daily retail tasks. You will interact with customers and support departments to ensure a friendly, efficient shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong listening and communication abilities.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using equipment.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from parking lot, lawn, and interior areas.
• Safely operate snow removal equipment when needed to clear snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Collaborate with service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot teams.
• Coordinate with departments such as Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware and more.
