Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to assist with a variety of retail tasks in-store and with customer service excellence. You will support cart collection, parking lot maintenance, and everyday store operations to ensure a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role emphasizes friendly interaction with customers, teamwork, and flexibility to handle seasonal tasks and responsibilities across departments.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull/bend/twist while handling products/equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments across store operations.
