Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Courtesy Team Member to gain exposure to a variety of store tasks and customer service activities. You will enjoy interacting with customers and learning what great service means in a retail setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, organization, and reliability while supporting store operations. Training is provided, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the Meijer family.

Qualifications

• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities.
• Able to lift, carry, push, pull, bend and twist while handling products.
• Thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
