Job summary

Meijer in Indiana is seeking entry-level team members to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across store operations and customer service. As a Courtesy Team Member, you will interact with customers and support teammates to provide above-and-beyond service.

Duties include cart attendant duties, parking lot and store area cleanups, snow removal when needed, handling perishable and salvage returns, and assisting across departments.

Qualifications

• Highly-organized with a keen sense for details.
• Great listening and communication skills.
• Can handle lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending and twisting while handling product or using various equipment.
• Ability to shine in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants ferry shopping carts from outside to inside the store.
• Coordinate and collect trash from the parking lot, lawn, and inside store.
• Safely use snow removal equipment to remove snow.
• Handle perishable and salvage returns.
• Perform basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Work with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Work with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
