Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level team member to gain exposure to a variety of retail tasks across services, product handling and customer service. You will contribute to store operations and assist customers with a friendly, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role with exposure to retail tasks across services, store operations and customer service.
• Must be organized with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Capability to lift, carry, push and pull loads and operate basic store equipment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and supports team goals.

Responsibilities

• Cart attendants will ferry shopping carts from outside the store back to the store interior.
• Coordinating and collecting of the parking lot, lawn, and inside store trash.
• Safely use snow removal equipment for properly removing snow.
• Perishable and salvage returns.
• Basic store and restroom cleaning.
• Working with our service desk, store entrance, check lanes and parking lot areas.
• Working with departments: Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal and Floral.
