Job summary

ShopRite of Rio Grande in New Jersey is seeking a CSA/Carts Clerk to deliver friendly, efficient service at the front end. You will collect and return shopping carts, assist customers with groceries, and maintain a clean, safe shopping environment.

The role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work collaboratively with the team while following safety and QA standards. 18+ to operate certain equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English; customer service mindset.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Lift up to 50 lbs; routine house keeping duties.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Work cooperatively with others; punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, safe work/shopping environment.
• Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service.
• Collect/store carts; return carts to proper place.
• Handle damaged/return-to-stock items per policy; prioritize perishable items.
• Adhere to Company policies and safety/QA guidelines.
