Chatham University is seeking an energetic student to fill the Carson the Cougar role, supporting athletics and university promotional events. You will mingle with attendees and collaborate with the Cheerleading head coach and athletic staff to plan and implement marketing activities for the athletics program.

The position is in-person with hours that vary by building schedules. Nights and weekends are required.

Carson the Cougar The Athletic and Fitness Center is looking for an energetic person to take on the position of Carson the Cougar. This position is expected to attend and participate in promotional events for Athletics as well as for the University at large. This position will mingle with attendees of these events and represent the University. This position will also work with the Cheerleading head coach and athletic administrative staff to help plan and implement promotional and marketing activities to promote the athletics program.

Work Conditions and Eligibility

• The position is in-person and hours vary per week depending on availability in relation to building hours.


• Nights and weekends are required.


• You will be asked to meet in person at least once per semester.


• There is a Dress code/uniform that will be required for this position.


• All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time.


• Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year.


• Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.


• Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
