Odyssey Logistics & Technology Corporation in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Manager, Carrier Sourcing to build and manage a high-quality carrier network for Enterprise Managed Services (EMS) clients. You will identify capacity gaps, qualify carriers, and convert capacity into contracted or dedicated relationships, working with Procurement, Operations, and Safety.

You will negotiate competitive rates, manage carrier performance, and leverage market intelligence to forecast capacity needs, while guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
• 3+ years transportation-related sourcing experience (sourcing, onboarding, contracting, category and supplier management).
• Experience booking carriers for Hazmat, Tanker Endorsed, and flatbed freight.
• Strong negotiation skills, relationship-building, and the ability to execute under pressure while maintaining clear communication with carriers, internal teams, and customers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional partners.

• Develop a high-quality network of asset-based carriers to support EMS clients.
• Identify capacity gaps and source carriers aligned with client requirements.
• Negotiate rates and terms for gap-fill and strategic lanes within authority.
• Manage carrier relationships and performance, escalating chronic failures as needed.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Safety to onboard carriers and optimize capacity.
