L&S Transport is seeking a Carrier Procurement Representative to source and secure qualified motor carriers, negotiate rates, and ensure compliant, reliable capacity for customer freight. You’ll build strong carrier relationships, monitor market trends, and coordinate with sales and operations to meet service and profitability goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in customer service, sales, purchasing, or relationship management preferred.
• Transportation, freight brokerage, carrier sourcing, or rate negotiation experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively identify and recruit qualified motor carriers.
• Build and maintain strong carrier relationships.
• Secure carrier capacity for daily shipments and contracted lanes.
• Negotiate competitive transportation rates.
• Verify carrier compliance before assigning shipments.
• Monitor transportation market conditions and rate trends.
• Coordinate shipments with internal teams.
• Resolve carrier-related issues and capacity shortages.
• Enter and maintain carrier data in the TMS.
• Communicate professionally with carriers and internal teams.
• Support brokerage performance objectives.
• Track shipments and ensure service reliability.
