Job summary

Allen Lund Company is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to prospect, contract, secure, and establish relationships with carriers to move truckload and LTL volumes of dry, refrigerated, and flatbed cargo.

You will support the office, develop relationships with carriers, and ensure policies are followed while delivering high-standard service in a fast-paced environment. This role offers growth within our 41 offices and a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a 3PL environment, with hands-on experience booking trucks.
• Excellent and effective communication skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and excellent work ethic.
• Ability to quickly process information and make decisions.
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the office to ensure standards, policies, and procedures are upheld. Strong independent thinking, organization and analytic skills are required.
• Carrier Acquisition & Development: develop profitable volume with existing and new carriers, build relationships, qualifying carriers, and increasing capacity for projects and lanes.
• Exceptional Customer Service: deliver outstanding service in every interaction.
• Branch Operations Navigator: support daily office coordination, load building, carrier setup, calls updates, and scheduling.
