Job summary

Ardent is hiring a Carrier Sales Representative in Lehi, Utah, joining a fast-paced brokerage to move customers’ inventory by identifying carriers and negotiating rates with shippers.

You will call drivers and carriers, manage daily shipments, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries while delivering excellent customer service. Base salary of $50,000 with uncapped commissions, training, benefits, and career growth await.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask calls, emails and messages while meeting daily goals.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivation and sales drive.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience on a fast-paced sales floor is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Call drivers and transportation companies to confirm availability.
• Negotiate with shippers and carriers for best rates.
• Manage daily shipments and ensure documentation and on-time pickup/delivery.
• Be honest and proactive with customers and carriers to resolve issues.
• Provide top-tier customer service.
• Develop new carrier relationships and grow existing ones.
