Precision Freight is seeking a Carrier Sales Coordinator to source and secure carrier capacity, negotiate rates, and build strong carrier relationships to keep our customers’ freight moving. You’ll work with Account Executives and Operations to match the right carrier and ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in carrier sales or related roles and understands truckload, expedited freight, and carrier compliance. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• 1 year of Carrier Sales, freight brokerage, or similar experience.
• Experience sourcing capacity and negotiating rates.
• Strong understanding of domestic transportation including full truckload and expedited freight.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work with urgency, manage multiple priorities, and make informed decisions.

Aufgaben

• Source and secure reliable carrier capacity for customer shipments.
• Match shipments with the right carrier, equipment, and service level across truckload, expedited, LTL, and specialized freight.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and owner-operators while expanding the network.
• Negotiate carrier rates balancing service, market conditions, and shipment profitability.
• Monitor shipments, communicate proactively, and respond quickly to delays and service issues.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and Operations to improve service, pricing, carrier performance, and profitability.
