• Freight brokerage experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Drive to succeed with confidence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the carrier database and expand GEODIS’s services.
• Understand carrier operational capabilities, freight needs, and service area.
• Foster and develop relationships with carriers in North America.
• Reach and exceed load coverage levels and margin goals.
• Utilize sharp negotiation skills for cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Meet dispatching and check-call requirements.
• Maintain communications with sales on shipper pickups and delivery schedules.
• Communicate customer problems and inquiries to the sales team.
• Provide shipment quotes to customers.
• Prioritize freight to cover all loads efficiently.
• Track all booked loads from contracting to delivery.
• Understand and support GEODIS goals and policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
