Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative in Plano, TX to develop and manage our carrier database and expand GEODIS’s services across North America. You will understand carrier capabilities, negotiate, and secure optimal load coverage with strong relationships and continuous communication with the sales team.

The role emphasizes cost-effective logistics solutions, timely quotes, and tracking loads from contracting through delivery, while maintaining our high service standards in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Freight brokerage experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Access and Excel.
• Ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Bilingual; English and Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the carrier database and expand GEODIS’s services.
• Understand carriers’ operational capabilities, freight needs and service areas.
• Foster and develop relationships with carriers in North America.
• Meet dispatching and check call requirements.
• Provide shipment quotes to customers.
• Track all booked loads from contracting to final delivery.
