GEODIS in the United States is seeking a Strategic Carrier Sales Representative to drive growth with high-volume accounts, developing a strategic carrier base and negotiating freight rates. You will manage relationships with US carriers, ensure service levels, and support North American operations.
The role requires strong negotiation, customer service, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. English and Spanish bilingualism is a plus.
A Strategic Carrier Sales Representative will facilitate the achievement of business goals tied to high volume accounts through strategic carrier base development, providing and negotiating freight rates, and leveraging knowledge of the industry to influence the decision-making process.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk. The employee is regularly required to use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and temperate climate conditions.
