Job summary

GEODIS in Plano, TX seeks a Strategic Carrier Sales Representative to drive growth with high-volume accounts by building carrier base, negotiating rates, and delivering cost-effective logistics solutions.

You will coordinate with operations, quote shipments, and ensure on-time pick-up and delivery while maintaining customer service excellence. Fluency in English is preferred; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Freight brokerage experience required.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow and improve processes.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the carrier database and expands GEODIS services for high volume accounts.
• Understands carriers' operational capabilities, freight needs, and service areas.
• Fosters relationships with US carriers based on current North American book of business.
• Meets load coverage, on-time pickup/delivery, and target margins with high service levels.
• Negotiates to provide cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Maintains communications with operations on pick-up and delivery schedules.
• Provides shipment quotes to customers.
• Prioritizes freight to cover all loads.
