Matson Logistics is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative in Illinois to source transportation capacity, negotiate competitive rates, and coordinate over-the-road shipments across the network. Responsibilities

• Carrier Sourcing & Relationship Management: Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing carriers; understand regional truck capacity and market conditions; negotiate competitive rates; use tools to evaluate carriers and support procurement decisions.
• Load Coverage & Shipment Execution: Identify loads, secure capacity, coordinate over-the-road shipments; manage bookings and communicate service expectations; collaborate on capacity, pricing, and coverage strategies; handle exceptions and delays.
• Financial & Operational Support: Negotiate and coordinate approvals for accessorial services; review and authorize charges; maintain carrier data in TMS; resolve billing discrepancies.
• Professional Responsibilities & Safety: Comply with company policies while maintaining safe work environment; perform additional duties to support goals.
