Job summary

HUB International is seeking a Carrier Team Associate in Riverside, CA. The role supports accounting workflows across the HFC, starting points in processing tasks, with emphasis on accuracy and timely resolution.

Responsibilities include building carrier relationships, handling inquiries, resolving aged items, and ensuring correct recording of payments in our Broker Management Systems. Collaboration and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience using MS Office for data entry and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop sustainable carrier relationships that allow team members to stay informed of updates, changes and opportunities
• Create and respond to internal inquiries to identify placement of funds
• Collaborate with team members to resolve aged/open items
• Maintain and upkeep carrier information to avoid discrepancies
• Proactively connect with leadership on items that need escalation or regional assistance
• Analyze incoming payments to correctly record items into our Broker Management Systems
• Facilitate carrier calls regarding follow up or urgent requests on outstanding tasks
• Attentive to ensuring all tasks assigned are kept updated and current to prevent backlog
• Identify and distribute statements and invoices to our processing accounting teams
• Ability to identify and track payment patterns
• Build effective electronic correspondence
• Additional responsibilities as assigned
