Job summary

Evans Transportation Services, LLC is seeking a Carrier Procurement Representative to secure capacity for Truckload orders and provide pricing estimates. Under the Carrier Procurement Manager, you will guide negotiations and buying decisions to meet customer transportation needs.

You will develop carrier relationships, manage rate confirmations, post loads, coordinate with account managers, and analyze market trends to secure competitive rates while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with transportation management systems (TMS) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop carrier relationships to support customers.
• Send and receive rate confirmations.
• Provide rate feedback to Truckload Account Managers.
• Manage load postings and coordinate carrier calls.
• Send BOL and ETA to Account Managers.
• Negotiate transportation rates daily with carriers.
• Provide tracking and order status information to customers.
