Job summary

ArcBest is seeking a Carrier Sales Representative to develop and grow relationships with trucking carriers, prospect new partners through calls, and onboard quality carriers to ensure we meet our customers' shipping requirements.

You will collaborate with sales, operations, and account management on a growing team while receiving comprehensive training on our transportation management system and industry practices to build and manage a robust carrier portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new carriers through lead generation and cold calling.
• Build relationships with trucking company contacts including dispatchers and drivers.
• Obtain new business, negotiate, and align carriers with customer freight.
• Identify and resolve issues to uphold service commitments.
• Communicate shipment details accurately to drivers and track in TMS.
• Collaborate with customer operations, account management, and customer sales.
