Job summary

ArcBest seeks an Account Manager to grow and maintain profitable business by selling ArcBest solutions to current and prospective customers. You will develop sales strategies, identify challenges, and present tailored solutions to diverse clients.

Responsibilities include managing relationships, pursuing new accounts, negotiating pricing, and collaborating with internal teams. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and experience in transportation sales is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience accepted.
• Experience in transportation or logistics sales is a plus.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales strategies and understand customers' business models.
• Identify challenges and develop solutions to create opportunities.
• Make calls and presentations to customers of all sizes.
• Manage relationships and entertain customers; pursue new accounts.
• Negotiate service requirements and pricing, and create packages.
