Job summary

RAS Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Carrier Recruiter to source, vet, and onboard trucking carriers for our growing logistics network in the United States. You will leverage existing carrier relationships and industry knowledge to bring reliable owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies into our network.

The ideal candidate understands carrier compliance, insurance requirements, and onboarding documentation, and is ready to travel up to 75% as needed to build partnerships and

Qualifications

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience with recruiting owner-operators and trucking companies.
• Knowledge of FMCSA compliance and onboarding documentation.
• Existing network of carriers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable carriers.
• Conduct initial carrier qualification and screening.
• Collect and verify onboarding documentation: COI, W-9, MC Authority, DOT Number, Operating Authority, Safety Rating.
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits.
• Ensure carriers meet compliance standards and company requirements.
• Maintain communication throughout onboarding process.
• Coordinate with operations teams.
• Track recruiting progress and onboarding status.

This role is ideal for a self-motivated recruiter with strong industry knowledge, existing carrier relationships, and the ability to operate independently.
