This role suits a self-motivated recruiter with industry knowledge, existing carrier relationships, and the ability to work independently. You will manage carrier qualification, verify COI, W-9, MC Authority, DOT, operating authority, and FMCSA safety ratings, while coordinating with operations and maintaining ongoing communication through

Qualifications

• Experience recruiting carriers for logistics/transportation.
• Knowledge of FMCSA compliance and COI requirements.
• Ability to verify Authority, DOT, MC, and FMCSA Safety Ratings.
• Existing network of carriers preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Willing to travel 50–75%.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable carriers.
• Conduct initial carrier qualification and screening.
• Collect and verify onboarding documents (COI, W-9, MC Authority, DOT Number, Operating Authority, Safety Rating).
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits.
• Ensure carriers meet compliance standards and company requirements.
• Coordinate with operations teams and track onboarding status.

• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits
• Ensure carriers meet compliance standards and company requirements
• Maintain communication throughout onboarding process
• Coordinate with operations teams
• Track recruiting progress and onboarding status
