Job summary

RAS Logistics LLC is seeking an experienced Carrier Recruiter to source, vet, and onboard qualified trucking carriers for our logistics network. You will manage the onboarding process, verify COIs, W-9s, MC Authority, DOT numbers, and FMCSA safety ratings, and ensure compliance while building lasting carrier relationships.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and field recruiting skills, with travel 50%–75% to engage carriers and support operations across our network.

Qualifications

• Previous carrier recruiting experience required.
• Knowledge of carrier onboarding process.
• Familiarity with FMCSA compliance and insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable carriers.
• Conduct qualification and screening of carriers.
• Collect and verify onboarding documentation (COI, W-9, MC Authority, DOT Number, Operating Authority, FMCSA safety rating).
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits; ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with operations and track onboarding progress.

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Carrier Recruiter to help source, vet, and onboard qualified trucking carriers for our growing logistics network. This role is ideal for a self-motivated recruiter with strong industry knowledge, existing carrier relationships, and the ability to operate independently. The ideal candidate understands carrier compliance, insurance requirements, and onboarding documentation, and can quickly bring reliable carriers into our network.

Responsibilities

• Source and recruit qualified owner-operators, small fleets, and trucking companies
• Build and maintain a pipeline of reliable carriers
• Conduct initial carrier qualification and screening
• Collect and verify required onboarding documentation:
• Certificate of Insurance (COI)
• W-9
• MC Authority
• DOT Number
• Operating Authority
• Safety Rating (FMCSA)
• Verify insurance requirements and coverage limits
• Ensure carriers meet compliance standards and company requirements
• Maintain communication throughout onboarding process
• Coordinate with operations teams
• Track recruiting progress and onboarding status
