Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, seeks a Carpentry Supervisor to plan, schedule and supervise bargaining unit staff. You will ensure quality and compliance with agreements, standards and codes, while directing maintenance, repair and fabrication work with carpentry techniques.
The role requires extensive supervision experience, formal carpentry training, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in a hospital environment.
The Carpentry Supervisor plans, schedules, assign, directs and supervises the work performed by bargaining unit staff. Responsible for overall supervision of maintenance, repair, fabrication, installation and modification work on buildings/components, offices, corridors, etc. Assures work quality and progress in compliance with the collective bargaining agreement, JHH standards, and local, state and federal codes. This work is performed under limited supervision and using the tools and techniques of carpentry technology.

Salary Range: Minimum $29.84/hour - Maximum $52.23/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
