Qualifications

• Ability to maneuver with bulky equipment.
• Ability to understand spoken and written English.
• REAL ID compliant driver’s license/ID required to access federal facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet cleaning function according to the schedule issued by management.
• Complete work quickly and efficiently to meet project deadlines and reduce home vacancy.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Carry and maintain cleaning supplies necessary to perform routine functions.
• Clean common areas including community centers, offices, and other areas as identified by management.
• May perform additional cleaning tasks such as trash pickup and dog waste stations.
• Respond to on-call after-hours emergency and urgent repairs.
• Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.

WinnCompanies is looking for aCarpet Cleaner to join our military housing team at Fort Wainwright, AK.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing carpet cleaning functions in homes, community offices, and common areas as necessary. Please note that the selected candidate must have the ability to complete and pass carpet cleaning equipment training within 45 days of employment.

Additionally, this position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL ID Act, effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver's license/ID is required in order to access the federal facility.

Responsibilities

• Perform carpet cleaning function in accordance with schedule issued by management.
• Complete work quickly and efficiently in order to meet project deadlines and to reduce home vacancy.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
• Responsible for carrying and maintaining all cleaning supplies necessary to satisfactorily perform routine functions.
• Responsible for cleaning activities in common areas, including community centers, office spaces, and additional areas as identified by management.
• May be responsible for other common area cleaning, including trash pick-up, doggie waste station, and community trash removal.
• Respond to and complete on-call after-hour emergency and urgent repairs.
• Maintain vehicle and vehicle inventory as prescribed.

Requirements

• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Ability to complete and pass training on carpet cleaning equipment within 45 days of employment.

• This position is located at a federal facility. In accordance with the REAL ID Act, effective May 7, 2025, a REAL ID compliant driver's license/ID is required in order to access the federal facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
