To learn more about our employee benefits click here. **Key Responsibilities** * Supervise and lead the daily operations of the carpentry shop, including assigning work, scheduling staff, and ensuring quality workmanship.* Maintain and repair campus facilities by overseeing and performing skilled carpentry work for academic, residential, and administrative buildings.* Plan and coordinate projects, including estimating labor and materials, prioritizing work orders, and collaborating with other Facilities Management administration, trades and campus departments.* Ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA regulations, College safety policies, and applicable building codes.* Manage shop operations, including inventory, tools, equipment, and maintenance records.* Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to maintenance requests and communicating effectively with faculty, staff, students, and contractors.* Obtain quotes, coordinate with, and oversee outside contractors as necessary.* Support emergency response and campus operations, including after-hours emergencies, severe weather, snow removal, and special projects.* Participates in the on-call policy.* Performs other duties as needed to meet the needs and goals of the department and College. **Community Engagement** * Be an active participant in the life of the College by attending and supporting key events like Commencement, Homecoming, and all other hands-on-deck gatherings. In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the hourly pay range for this position is $37 - $50.00 per hour. Endicott College considers factors such as (but not limited to) job responsibilities, relevant experience, skills, internal equity, and external market data when determining pay. The final hourly rate is determined by the Human Resources Office based on these factors. This range reflects base pay only and does not include benefits or other compensation.
