Job summary

Closets by Design is seeking a Carpenter/Installer Assistant to support Lead Installers with in-home installations of custom closets, cabinets, and garage systems. You’ll follow drawings, use hand and power tools, and help ensure safety and quality on every job.

This role emphasizes customer service, punctuality, and strong organization. Valid driver's license and clean driving record are required; training is provided and growth paths exist within the franchise.

Qualifications

• Customer oriented and enthusiastic approach is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Help install custom closets and cabinets at customer homes.
• Follow basic drawings or instructions to assist with setup.
• Use hand and power tools safely (training provided).
• Measure, cut, and fit materials with guidance from the lead carpenter.
• Assist with mounting shelves and leveling parts.
• Keep job sites clean and organized during and after installation.

Carpentry Installer Assistant

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to immediately fill the position of Carpenter/Installer Assistant. Carpenter/Installer Assistants are responsible for assisting Lead Installers with the installation of products in a safe, high quality, productive, and profitable fashion. Demonstrate a commitment to client satisfaction by communicating what is necessary in a genuinely friendly and professional fashion. Operate company vehicles, tools, etc. in a safe manner.
